Hello there lovely people! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT IS MAY?!?! I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that we are almost half way through 2017...

Sunday was such a bitter sweet day for me. My little Italy, the last of the crew turned 4!! She literally has one more year  left in the "toddler" ages and I am slowly loosing it!
Since her and Bboys birthdays are so close, we decided to have a little get together with the family and eat cake! For some odd reason there was also a pinata as well.... oh kids lol.

Anyway..like I said before, this is post is really a form of an  online memory book. A way to keep record of my babies likes, dislikes and what they were like at each age. So here it is folks! 4 things about  my little diva with sass and the ability to make anyone just about pee their pants from laughter.. little Miss Italy!

1. What is your most favorite thing? "Apple, from ever ever high" (ever after high)
2.What do you love about Italy? "hmmm my mouth! like my smile!"
3. What's your favorite color? "hmmm red i guess?"
4. What is your favorite thing to do? "Play with ponies!"

And from the mouth of a babe this is the truth lol. Italy has a special place in my heart because she is my last baby... honestly, I didn't even want to have more kids after my son was born. I had lost over 100 pounds and I was already overwhelmed with the 3 I already had lol. But from the moment  I seen her, got over how big her eyes were and the pain meds wore off, I was in love! She definitely keeps me on my toes and like her older sister Thai, she knows how to brighten my day!

Do you do anything special for the baby of your family? Let me know in the comments below!

*** btw, i will be updating this post with more photos of her. she insisted on wearing her hair out curly saturday and it is all lopsided now lol. gotta tame it first!***

Hello lovely people!

Mother's Day is right around the corner and let's be honest flowers, a card or some chocolates are great signs of appreciation. But sometimes, something that can be reused or worn more than once is GREAT!

Let's say this, you buy a bouquet of flowers for around $25 and a card for about $8, that's $33 dollars for something that will possibly get thrown away before the next year and die by the end of the week! Now, if you know me, you know I love Target! Especially now that Victoria Beckham has put out her own line with them! So it would only be suiting if I choose my top picks from Target lol.

Last year for Mother's Day was really tough! We don't normally go all out for Mother's Day but my husband usually will cook some of his bomb chicken and get me some great wine.. both of which I am totally fine with! But last year he was in Kansas City building his business and I was still in Dallas. I was home alone with 3 kids. So I handled it the best way I knew how.. Netflix and wine haha.

My sister in law however did one of the sweetest things ever! She wanted to create a wine and sip party at her home for her mom, her niece's mom and myself. She really went all out and it was great! That was definitely in my top 5 Mother's Day of all time!

This year thankfully, we are all back together! Hopefully now we just don't get anymore cold fronts so I can enjoy the warm sun! Hopefully even put on a Mother's Day Brunch... but who knows!

Any who, so... Mother's Day is a day to show your mom, aunt, grandma, or wife that you appreciate them and what better way to do that than setting aside one day of the year to do just that! Now, I'm just guessing here but I'm sure about 99.5% of women out there LOVE Target! So I have done the excruciating (j/k I love it) pain of going through Target and Target.com to find you my top 10 gift ideas for this Mother's Day!

So here they are! You can find a direct link to each of these items below!

**note, I did not receive any compensation for this post or any payment if you purchase these items. These are all gifts that I would choose for myself or for someone else**

Hello lovely people!
Ok so this post is going to be kind of emotional! My baby boy turns 6 TODAY!!

Wait let me back track a little.. so you know I came across a post from 2 blonde mamas and I was super inspired to start a birthday post every year each of my babies has their birthday. Oh you didn't know that? No problem.. check it out HERE!

Ok... so back to what I was saying about being all emotional. My only boy, my little prince is officially no longer in the toddler age. He is a full blown little kid. He has a special place in my heart because he is my only boy. He is strong willed, full of energy and wants to be just like his dad! He hates getting his hair cut and when ever his sisters get something girly lol.

But enough from what I think about my boy, here are 6 things about Baltimore from Baltimore!

1 "My favorite color is green and red and blue"
2. "My favorite movie is the Lego Batman movie"
3. "My favorite sport is football and football, that's it.. just football"
4. "My favorite subject in school is ABCMouse and EasyPeasy"
5. "My favorite food is peaches! NOT beans"
6. I asked Baltimore if he had one wish what would it be? He said "for everything to be legos" lol!

My world!
Hello there lovely people!
It is Spring and Kansas City has been crazy rainy and cloudy! A few days throughout the past weeks the clouds did seem to disappear and we needed some new family photos.. but we were never ALL together.
As you know my oldest is my step daughter and she lives with her mother so we really are only able to squeeze in all we can during the weekend. So, when I seen that there was going to be a break in the clouds this weekend, I jumped at the chance to have us all take photos!
My husband and son are not very photogenic (even though they are handsome guys) lol.

Photography is one of my many passions! I took several photography classes in high school and learned hands on via photography pros when we lived in Dallas. They were all amazing and helpful! My skill level is also based on books, so while I have lighting concepts and actual imagery down, technical terms and camera adjustments are still a work in progress. So please don't be too harsh!

Here are some of our Spring family photos taken in Kansas City today. I hope you like them! If you know any good photography bloggers, please let me know so I can check them out!
Also, enjoy our photos and tell me what you think!

My little Phoenix can be sooo shy, but when she lets her guard down she has so much personality!

My Thai is a true Southern Belle :), Sweet and sassy!

I hope you enjoyed these photos! As always thank you for reading! What is your favorite part about family photos? Let me know in the comments below!
