This is simply me... me telling you, my dear readers about our journey that has now been officially labeled. I'm talking about that one fear
As you know, we have a litter of kids lol... AND one of them is not like the others! That's right! Our lone wolf, solo prince, little man of the house, lone ranger, the little/big brother or as my husband calls him, king #2!
Let me start by saying this.. my husband is a GREAT father. he is always leading by example of how a young man should act, dress and even treat women/girls/sisters/mama. However, because he owns his own business, he works a lot and as a SAHM/teacher, I am around him the most.. right along with his clan of sisters.
One thing I love about Homeschooling is that we can really "do what we want". I decided to start our year early since it was our first year that way we had plenty of time for review and honestly because I'm still a little lost lol.
So when the kiddos were getting bored with school, I decided a field trip was necessary! We have been studying animals and what they need to survive and such.. so the zoo seemed like a perfect fit. The kids always love to take a trip to the zoo, the variety of animals, the train rides and sky safari (which I hate), they LOVE IT!
I love being creative! I love throwing things together and really mixing things up when it comes to style. If you can't express yourself through clothes then we might as well just be living in that movie called "The Giver".. (if you haven't seen it you should, great movie!).
But when dressing someone, it's not as easy as just grabbing what "speaks to you". You have to remember that you are dealing with someone that may be completely opposite of you. I feel it is always important to lay a foundation with them. Get to know their likes and dislikes, what makes them feel comfortable and what doesn't. Are they in a rut? Are they afraid of color or patterns? Really try to understand where they are in their fashion lifestyle and where they want to go.
